The First Agroecology Europe Forum intends to bring together actors from a wide horizon to share views and knowledge to design the agricultural and food systems of today and tomorrow.

Tackling challenges related to global change, environmental issues, consumer and citizen expectations requires new knowledge and progress in agroecology. Therefore, integrative approaches must be developed which bridge existing gaps, integrate different forms of knowledge, create new initiatives, and formulate policy recommendations for new pathways towards sustainable agricultural and food systems.

In this context, the Agroecology Europe Forum, initiated by Agroecology Europe, hosted by ISARA and co-organised by Cultivate! aims to bring together actors from the three components of agroecology: movement, science, and practice.

The programme will include a World Café, plenary sessions, parallel workshops, open discussions, field visits and plenty of time for networking. Posters will be exhibited during the Forum in an open space in order to facilitate networking among participants.

Duration and Location: 2.5 days (half day on Friday afternoon for farm visits). Location: ISARA, Lyon (France).

Contacts: For registration and technical questions: Julie Djebrani (conference secretariat): jdjebrani@isara.fr
