Tracking Food System Transformation
Monitoring and Evaluation
We design and facilitate participatory processes to develop programme scoping, (mult-year) strategies or training modules on food systems and agroecology for organisations, networks and movements. We also co-design advocacy campaigns to influence international and national policies, research and investments.
In addition, we engage in tracking, monitoring, and evaluation processes to support organisational learning and clarity on progress towards food systems transformation and related goals.
Examples of the strategies our team members developed, often in collaboration with others:
- The 2025-2029 organisational strategy of the Alliance for Food Sovereignty in Africa.
- The 2024-2030 organisational strategy of the Agroecology Coalition
- The 2023-2028 organisational strategy of Groundswell International
- A campaign to integrate agroecology in the Kunming Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (for the Global Alliance, Biovision Foundation, UNESCO Chair on Biodiversity, Food and Sustainability Studies, University of Vermont, and others)
- Program scoping and training modules on agroecology for VSO International and for WWF
- Mid-term evaluation of the Civil Society and Indigenous Peoples Mechanism
- A finance tracking mechanism to support funders’ and donor countries’ efforts to increase agroecology funding, commissioned by the International Agroecology Coalition
